iHOPE's 6th Annual
Adapted Toy Drive

DONATE

At the iHOPE school, we are committed to providing comprehensive services to students with a range of brain-based diagnoses, including Traumatic Brain Injury, Acquired Brain Injury, and other neurological conditions.

We also believe in the power of play.

ADAPTED TOY & GAME KITS

For most children, play is a natural and joyful part of life. But for our students who face significant challenges with communication, mobility, vision, and hearing, traditional toys and games are often inaccessible. This limits their ability to engage in meaningful play, which is essential for learning, social interaction, and emotional development.

That’s why we created the
iHOPE Adapted Toy Drive, led by our Assistive Technology Department. Our staff have the expertise to modify toys and games so that every child can experience the joy of play—on their own terms.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

This year, we’re focusing on accessible play that fosters connection and communication. Each of our 20 classrooms will receive two themed toy kits, complete with adapted play items, props, and materials tailored to the needs of the students. These kits will be used in the classroom to promote independence, support communication device use, and to train staff in inclusive play practices.

With your help, we can provide adapted game or toy kits tailored to the needs of individual students.

Your donation will help us provide:
-2 adapted toy kits per classroom
-Customized materials for student-specific needs
-Training for staff to support inclusive play

Together, we can make play accessible, meaningful, and joyful for all!
